Return of the swifts

Every year families of swifts make their long and perilous journey from Africa to nest in the eaves of my house as they have done for over 100 years. It was good to learn this week that Network Rail have been forced to reopen swift's nesting sites on a viaduct in Derbyshire having previously sealed them up. And right on cue yesterday the first pair arrived - I hope they brought their thermals.
